1. On the Today screen, tap Start > Settings.
2. Tap the Phone Band icon and choose " North America" or Europe, Asia" Phone
band depend on where you are.
3. Tap the Keyboard icon to open the virtual keyboard
4. Tap Shift and then Ctl key to enable the keys.
5. Tap the blank area below the band selection box to open the unlock tool.
6. Tap Shift and then Ctl to disable the keys.
7. Enter the 8-digit unlock code and tap OK when done.
8. Wait for the device to validate the unlock code (about five
seconds). You will see one of the following screens:
-Unlock successful.
Maybe you'll see "Your phone not ready for
unlocking"
9. Try to make a call. If you can call so your phone is
unlocked.

Some problem may occurs when
unlocking HP Ipaq 6315:
Your Phone said
"Your phone not ready for unlocking"
This problem may because you doesn't put a active
simcard in your phone before perform unlocking or haven't turn the phone on yet.To turn on the phone you must "Turn OFF flight mode" . to "turn off flight
mode", click on the Signal Bar in the phone , you'll see "turn off flight
mode" link. Just Click on it
If you already put a simcard in the phone but still have this problem so try to
change another simcard and unlock again.
If you have friends using t-mobile
networks, just borrow their t-mobile simcard in a minutes for unlock it .
T-mobile simcard is the best for unlock this model.
If you Not is the USA, you can find a t-mobile simcard in a Big phone repair
shop. Just go there to ask .Most of my customer can solve this problem by this
way
Sometime when you input the unlock code , your phone said " your phone not ready
for unlocking" but the phone already unlocked . it because you using other
simcard to unlock ( not t-mobile simcard ) . You can try to make a test call to
see if it unlocked.
If at all it doesn't works, Update your phone's firmware now:
Download this
firmware update and every thing will be ok.
Update new firmware need cradle or a data cable . If you doesn't got it,
just buy 1 in your place or

You must install Active Sync before perform
Update firmware .
Active sync can be find in the CD comes with phone phone or download at
Microsoft website:
1. Unzip/Extract it using your unzip program (i.e. WinRAR, WinZip, 7zip,
etc...)
2. Place the h6315 in cradle. connect it to USB and charger
3. Double click on the hpRUU.exe to run the program
4. View the Readme and if you wish to proceed Agree to the Terms and
Conditions
5. Click Next
6. Click Next again to flash the device with the new ROM
7. Sit back relax and grab yourself something to drink while it handles its
business
If you got laptop, should ,best is do it in laptop ( prevent electric out )
After rom update finish, just input the code like before
If after updated new Firmware but
your phone still said " Your phone not ready for unlocking" . See below for last
way:

2. Your
phone return to locked state after a soft reset.
This problem cause of missing
t-mobile sim card while unlocking. You should find a t-mobile simcard to unlock
it again and this problem can be solve forever. If you can't find t-mobile
simcard, the only way is input my unlock code every time you make a soft reset .
3. Your Phone said
"Unlock Code not accepted ,
you have 2 more attempts.... " even when you
already put T-mobile simcard in the phone while unlocking.
This problem can be solve with this ROM update ( ROM
v1.00.38 )
This rom update will remove all T-mobile logos and sofware and your 6315 will
become OEM 6315
You must install Active Sync software before perform

4. I can't upgrade this firmware
. my computer said :
It's happend because you was previous installed the
other firmware. you must make the phone enter
bootloader mode before install this fimrware .
How to enter bootloader mode :
Press and HOLD both "Contact" and "Mail" Button
while make a soft reset ( this buttons is 2 buttons near CALL and CANCEL button
when you success enter bootloade mode , you will
see the startup screen but it's not continue loading and "USB" chararcter
. after that, just update firmware like before
